Shipping Information

We take great care when packing and shipping live plants. Each order is prepared with the goal of getting your plants to you safely, quickly, and in the best possible condition.

Shipping Methods

We currently ship using FedEx and UPS only. Available shipping options and rates will be shown at checkout based on your order size, delivery address, and selected service.

Shipping charges are subject to order weight, distance, weather, and carrier rates, and are subject to change without notice.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States only.

We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or international addresses. We also do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Processing Time & Shipping Schedule

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days.

Products are usually packed over the weekend and shipped the following Monday. To be included in the next week’s shipment, orders must be received by Wednesday at 5:00 PM.

Orders placed after Wednesday at 5:00 PM may be included in the following shipping cycle.

Weather & Live Plant Shipping

Live plants are sensitive to extreme heat and cold. Heat packs and cold-weather protection may be added on a case-by-case basis when needed.

In extreme weather situations, we reserve the right to hold your plants until conditions are safer for shipping. This may include weather at our shop location, along the transit path, or at your local delivery destination.

Customers are responsible for monitoring their local weather and retrieving packages promptly upon delivery. For best results, we recommend shipping to an address where someone can receive the package the day it arrives.

Shipping Damage + Returns

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at makoreplants@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the plant
  • Clear photos of the packaging
  • A clear photo of the shipping label
  • A video of the plant being unboxed

We will review each case and do our best to make it right. We believe in a returnless refund policy. If your claim is approved, we may refund your order or ship you a replacement plant, depending on the situation and product availability.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your refund request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (or shipped a new plant if that is agreed upon by all parties). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
